Meet my new friend Marian Jordan Ellis.
I have loved doing her Bible study on Ephesians so much. It’s like having an open Bible, a cup of coffee, and a conversation with a friend as you dive into the treasure of the book of Ephesians.
Marian shares her story about how God transformed her life in Christ but it was a process to transform her life into believing who she was in Christ.
God’s delays are not God’s denials.
The truth is what truly sets us free.
She shares how she had to learn to renew her mind with the truth of scripture because of the lies she battled.
One of her lies: People don’t really love me.
What is one of your lies?
She learned that lies become strongholds. Satan takes us captive because he doesn’t want us to live knowing that we are God’s masterpieces.
The truth is what tears down strongholds.
Marian encourages us to 1) recognize the lies 2) start believing what God says about us.
Ephesians is such an incredible book to dive into to tell us who we are in Christ.
Living our identity in Christ is the truth that sets us free.
