Freedom Starts Today: An Interview with John Elmore

This interview with my new friend John Elmore got me so pumped up.  Why?  Because He reminded me and will remind you that freedom is possible and it starts today.  There is a God that we are known by, seen by, and loved by.  Our God who gives us freedom.

It is for FREEDOM that Christ has set you free, do not be burdned again by a yoke of slavery.

Galatians 5:1

John’s story is a powerful one of finding freedom in Christ which led to freedom from an addiction that was literally killing him.  His doctors, friends, and family were all telling him that his alcohol addiction was killing him. It even led to him wanting to kill someone else and then himself.

BUT GOD.  But Jesus rescues and redeems and He will do this for all of us.

Our freedom, your freedom starts today.

One day at a time, the spirit can empower us and set us free.

Maybe you are thinking but I don’t have an addiction to alcohol or drugs, why do I need freedom?  We all are addicted to something.  And it is Jesus that sets us free.

Will you join me and John in praying for eradication from addiction in the church.  When he talks about that in this interview I just get so excited about what God can do as we all look for freedom and live in freedom– one day at a time.

Friend, I encourage you to listen to this and do the easy thing to encourage a friend who may be overwhelmed with the struggles of addiction.  Simply share this interview.

And if you need prayer, please send me a message I would love to pray for you.
