Is God really Good? An Interview with Erica Wiggenhorn
Oh friends– this power-packed woman of Joy is Erica Wiggenhorn. I was blessed to meet her at a conference and was quickly drawn to her joy that filled up a room.
And today– you get to experience that joy as you listen to our interview on Coming Alive Conversations. We take a deep dive into the power of Jesus.
Erica says something in the interview that I think we all can relate to.
She is talking about how the disciples were struggling with the question of, “Jesus can you really do this for Me” and how Jesus came so tenderly to His disciples and said, ” Yes, I just need you to trust me.”
The bottom line she says, where we really struggle with God, is not believing that He can, but believing that He is good. If we really open our hands and give him our heartache, our dream, our circumstance– is God really good? Can I trust Him with it?
As she studied Luke, she found how Jesus is. He is good. He is faithful. He has individual encounters with people and offers His goodness to them– and He is offering that trustworthy goodness to our circumstances today.
I love this. That as we dive into the gospels, we can see a Jesus who sees us, saves us and rescues us.
