When God calls you to the unknown

julie

Monday’s are my favorite because I get to introduce you to some of my favorite people.

Today allow me the JOY of introducing you to my friend Julie Hulstein, founder and director of Vibella Jewelry.

In the past few years, I have really been focusing on this question.

What does it look like for me to place my yes on the table before the Lord?

Where will He take me? What will I get to watch Him do?  How will he surprise me?

My friend Julie placed her yes on the table before the Lord and He began to take her on the adventure of a lifetime.

From music teacher to owner of a jewelry company that is creating life-changing business opportunities for artisans in Haiti and Mexico– her yes to the Lord has been a journey of watching the Lord do more than she could have imagined.

Do you ever look at the needs of the world and feel overwhelmed and hopeless?

Julie reminds us how God can use us, work in us– and how He is working around the world.

I cannot wait for you to listen to this conversation on Coming Alive Conversations.

Read Psalm 23 in the Message Version:

Psalm 23 The Message (MSG)

A David Psalm 23

1-3 God, my shepherd!I don’t need a thing.

You have bedded me down in lush meadows,

you find me quiet pools to drink from.

True to your word, you let me catch my breath

and send me in the right direction.

Even when the way goes through Death Valley,

I’m not afraid when you walk at my side.

Your trusty shepherd’s crook makes me feel secure.

You serve me a six-course dinner right in front of my enemies.

You revive my drooping head;my cup brims with blessing.

Your beauty and love chase after me every day of my life.

I’m back home in the house of God for the rest of my life.

Julie is coming alive with:

  • Spending time with Jesus
  • Caring less about what others think over her and how more about how she reflects Jesus.
