papa sightings

ok.. so I told you guys that I was going to get better at blogging.. is this extreme.. posting twice so soon. oh well.. i have lots of time to kill here at the la airport, so I had to write a little note to let you enjoy this journey with me.

I’ve never spent the night at an airport before, but it is a very interesting experience. I found me a metal bench, laid on my backpack and put my feet on my suitcase. It was hilarious because it kept getting colder and colder so the only thing I could think to do since I didn’t have a jacket was put the pj’s in my suitcase on my arms… so i just kept adding. I would randomly wake up from my sleep and wonder why i was laying on a bench with pj’s on my arms.. 🙂 But I can now proudly say that I could now fluently translate the announcement for what you can carry in your carryon suitcase in 10 different languages after hearing it all night long! The benifits of spending the night in the airport.

ok.. but now for the incredible papa story. Papa always promises to direct our steps, so I was waiting to see what that would be for me here. So I was spending some time with papa, jamming out to the crabb family having a glory moment.. and this girl tapped me on the shoulder. I turned and she said can I talk to you.. papa sent me and I feel like you have a word of encouragement for me. ..that kindof took me by suprise. So this 23 korean girl sat down beside me and begin to share her story. She only came apart of the family 1 year ago and is now going back to her family in korea to share with them her new life. She feels a calling on her life to be apart of God’s business but was afraid and didn’t know what that would mean. So for about 2 hours we got to share and read through the letters from papa and then talk to him together. It was an amazing moment… one I will never forget.

so today– don’t forget to look for papa in whatever delay, step, direction that happens.
