Always an adventure with Jenn :-)

Hey guys. See.. i promised that I would be better at updating this blog! 🙂 I just wanted to give a quick update on Jenn’s journey to South Asia. What an adventurous day. Starting from when my family and I went to breakfast at my favorite breakfast place in Cleveland, and on the way home at 11:30 (i needed to leave ooltewah @ 12:30) the van serpantine belt breaks on the side of the road. For you car challenged folks.. that’s the belt that runs absolutly everything in the car. But what does my amazing dad do.. pull out his leatherman which solves all problems.. cut a section out and we kept driving.. and praying.. the belt shredded three more times.. but by a miracle of God were were able to make the 20 minutes drive back to ooltewah– with some hard core praying. What a miracle of God. You can’t drive on a shredded serpantine belt!!

then what an emotional send off at the airport. I was blown away by the body of Christ that came to surrond me and my family. God truly showed his glory through “people bodies” who just loved on me. I loved to watch the people at the airport as we had CHURCH.. a circle of about 20 people praying around me, crying (we were all either crying or laughing). It was a very emotional moment, but one I truly will never forget. Thanks for all who were praying, as I felt the PEACE of my ABbba Father as I say goodbye to all I know and love for the next couple of years.

So.. now…. i’m spending a LOVELY night at the ritz that I like to call the LA airport.. my plane was delayed 3 hours in charolette, so I arrived at 11:15 at LAX and my flight was supposed to leave at 11:30. By the time I got on the bus to the international terminal… my pilot must have been waving goodbye. But I know God has a plan in all things.. so I am cozying up here to spend the night..there was no one at the ticket counter so I guess I will wait till morning. Well.. it’s a good entry into working through jet lag huh. It’s about 3:00 am your time so I think I’m going to try to find a place to take a “nap!”

Thanks for talking to papa for me.. keep it up. They do have starbucks here.. glory.. and if you think of it say a little prayer that eventually my luggage (lots of luggage) ends up with me!

Blessings
