Something Old Something New Something Borrowed Something Blue
Friends, it has been way too long since I have written a blog post. Remember the days when blogging was a real thing?
Just because I have not written one does NOT mean that I have not been thinking about you–the friends I know and don’t know who take the time to visit my cozy little internet home here. (which, by the way, spoiler alert will be getting an update in the next few months from the amazing Market Refined Media)
You know how at weddings they say for you to have something old, something new, something blue (at least I think that’s what they say. I have never married, but I sure have been a bridesmaid 18 times)
Would you celebrate something old with me? Today I am celebrating the Coming Alive Conversations podcast having over 50,000 downloads.
I had NO idea what I was doing when I said yes to starting a podcast.
I took a podcast course from Kathi Lipp, bought the microphone they recommended, and prayed over a list of names I would LOVE to talk to and share their message.
I was so blessed to get to talk to everyone on that dream list and more.
It is my favorite thing.
I used to get in trouble in school for talking, and now I get to do it as part of my ministry.
Now, what is the new?
Well, the podcast is shifting names and directions. You still will be able to hear old Coming Alive Conversations podcasts, but the new name is My Yes is on the Table.
I will still be interviewing amazing guests. But we will just shift the focus a bit to highlighting their message while also talking about what it looked like for them to put their yes on the table.
What was the process like for them? Where were their fear stops and how did they turn to faith steps?
I am so excited!!! If you have not already I would love for you to subscribe to Coming Alive conversations so that you don’t miss an episode and that will keep you subscribed to My Yes is on the Table.
I am so grateful for you and how you make me come alive!
(Ps: The something blue is the new podcast graphic)
