I could tell from Becky’s book The Simple Difference: How Every Small Kindness Makes a Big Impact
that I would love to be her friend in real life. What a radiant joy she has.
I loved the reminder in this conversation how simple acts of kindness can literally change the world. I don’t know if you have noticed, but the world is a bit nasty right now.
It can feel a bit dark and overwhelming when you read how people sling words behind the comforts of their keyboards.
I think that is why I loved the message of this book so much. The reminders to be kind.
You don’t have to have a lot of time or money or be an influencer to influence people.
The gospel is the radical kindness of God and becaues of that radical kindness we can show radical kindness.
Becky gives all kinds of practical ways that we can show kindness.
Some of my favorites.
Show up and be present where you are.
Take a person’s concerns right to the Lord in prayer.
Encourage someone with your words.
