The In-Between Places: An Interview with Kat Armstrong
I cannot think of a better episode during these messy days than this interview with Kat Armstrong.
As she mentions in the interview when she was writing the book The In-Between Place, she was writing it well before the days of Covid 19, the election, and all the continuing messy middle of our country.
I love how she reminds us that Jesus meets us in the messy of our middle.
The in-between places.
She takes us on a journey in John 4 about the Women of the Well. Samaria literally was an in-between place.
Samaria was in-between Jesus’s ministry in Galilee and in Jerusalem.
Jesus went to that in-between place and met the woman at the well there.
I don’t really have good words for what is going on in our country in this very emotionally charged time.
All I know is I can pray to the God who steps right into the messy middle.
