Multiply your God-given potential: An Interview with John Bevere

Meet John Bevere.  I love the ministry of him and his wife Lisa Bevere and was thrilled to welcome him to the show today.

His newest book Multiply Your God-given Potential is highlighted and dog-eared. It’s one of THOSE books that was just what I needed.

I get so excited about my ministry calling but I can instantly go to the lists of what I don’t have to fulfill it. The not enough’s.

This book was so encouraging to remember to bring my calling, my gifts, my passions to the hands of the one who CREATED me for such a time as this and wants to multiply them.

Before you start thinking, well this doesn’t apply to me because I am not “called”.  John reminds us of how we are ALL called. Not just the pastor and missionary.

You. You in your normal every day.  And God wants to multiply your offering because He has so much in store.

I love the reminder to break free from our lists of not enough’s and risk going for it.  Waiting. Watching. Bringing our offering.

Today I was reading in all of the gospels the account of the feeding of the 5,000. I can so relate to the disciples. They looked at the hungry crowd and made a list of what they didn’t have.

Jesus said what do you have?

He took their little and in His hands He multiplied it to do much.

You my friend matter much in the kingdom of God.

You have an offering for the kingdom of God.

You are called to multiply your God-given gifts and watch God do more than you could ever imagine.
