Struggles with anxiety are rampant today. This is a difficult battle that so many of my closest friends and family struggle with and face. So I was THRILLED to interview Caris Snyder about her book Anxiety Elephants: a 31 day Devotional to help stomp out your anxiety.
I wanted to make sure that I provided a resource from someone that knew the struggle.
The struggle with anxiety and depression can feel very personal and the enemy can use the power of shame to try to silence those going through the struggle.
I came to this topic with such a tender heart. And Caris Snider comes to this topic with a tender heart as someone who has walked the difficult road of the struggle with anxiety and depression.
Caris had to find a holistic balanced approach to find hope and healing in the struggle. Counselors, medical help and taking tiny action steps each day at a time.
If you are struggling with anxiety and depression even tiny action steps can feel overwhelming. I love having this resource in both the conversation and the book to help come alongside you as you try to take the tiny steps to stomp out the anxiety elephants.
Depression and anxiety can feel very isolating and full of shame — and I just want you to know that you are not alone.
He wants to pick you up and say to you I love you and I am right here with you.

Mentioned in the episode:
Let my teaching fall like rain and my words descend like dew, like showers on new grass, like abundant rain on tender plants.
When I called, you answered me; you greatly emboldened me.
