Hope in Loss: An Interview with Krista Anderson

jennandkrista

Meet my friend Krista.   From the minute I met her I knew she was an incredible gift.

The more I talked with her, the more I saw hope in her.   Light, peace, and hope radiated from her.

I knew she was a military spouse because I met her on an airport shuttle van full of military spouses on the way from the airport to the SpeakUp Conference.

She and her girlfriends took me right into their circle.  Over delivered sub sandwiches, she began to share her story of hope with me.

Krista lost her first husband in the war.  She got the call that no military spouse wants to get.

In the middle of the darkest of the dark Krista clung to hope.  She clung to Jesus.  And as you listen you will discover how He carried her.

Do you know someone struggling with loss?

Do you wonder how you can support a friend struggling through loss?

Can you find hope again?

I invite you to lean in and listen to this conversation. You will be reminded of the power of hope.

Faith is believing in the darkness what God showed you in the light”

— Jenn Hand

Can I also encourage you to remember to pray for military spouses?  I am realizing this can be a forgotten people group. They need us. They need us to remember them. To encourage them. To pray for them.  And to seek to be the hands and feet of Jesus to them.

These spouses are changing the world– and we can pray for and come alongside them.
