Lord Blow me Away Today: An Interview with Crickett Keeth

Don’t you just love that title?  Lord blow me away today?  In our podcast interview, Crickett talks about this short but powerful prayer that packs quite a punch.

Oh sorry– I got so excited I forgot to introduce you to my friend Crickett before I started typing.  (Ps:  You will find out how she got the name Crickett in this podcast interview and see how it really fits her joy-filled self).

Here is my friend Crickett.  I know you will want to be her new friend now also.

Do you ever long to have a deeper prayer life?

Let’s be honest.  I do– you do. I imagine we all do at times.

Deepening her intimacy with God through prayer is what led Crickett to study the prayers prayed in the Bible.

It can be easy for us to forget that the characters in the Bible that we become familiar with were real live people like you and me.  They struggled with desires, hopes, fears– and learning how to connect with God.

Crickett studied their prayers– and in her new Bible study On Bended Knee:  Praying Like Prophets, Warriors, Kings she helps us dive into studying prayer and those who prayed them.

Prayer is such a gift.  We get to speak with the one who spoke the stars into being.

I cannot wait for you to listen to this interview and be encouraged in your prayers.
