Jesus Loves YOU: An Interview with Holley Gerth
Grab your coffee mug/ diet coke with extra sonic ice/Hot tea/sweet with tons of sugar southern style iced tea/whatever else makes you smile and let me introduce you to an incredible cheerleader for your soul.
Meet my friend Holley Gerth.
Holley has written so many amazing books which encourage our hearts in the truths of who God is and how that changes who we are.
The truth is, if we get gut level honest, we all struggle with insecurities of some sort. And then there are the times when we swing in the other direction and struggle with pride.
Our hearts can feel like a complicated mess. Or maybe that’s just me?
Holley and I dive into the character of God and how God changes everything.
For example, do you know what it means when the Bible describes Jesus as the bright morning star? (Leaving you hanging here, you have to listen to the podcast to get the answer).
In the complexity of our human hearts, it really boils down to one thing.
Holley sums it up in the reminder of the simple children’s song that we often learn early in life.
Jesus loves me this I know. For the Bible tells me so. Little ones to Him belong. They are weak but He is strong.
Yes Jesus loves me.
Yes Jesus loves me.
Yes Jesus loves me, the Bible tells me so.
Join Holley and I and hear about how God’s more story for Holley’s life has involved some twists and turns she would not have expected but God had planned and how God is always working behind the scenes.
