Do you need to exhale? Lose who you’re not, Love who you are, live your one life well

The back and front cover of a book tell me a great deal about the story inside. Let’s be honest, we generally DO judge a book by its cover.

I LOVE the cover of the book that I am going to get to introduce you to in this episode.  The word exhale– first of all that just makes me breathe a nice sigh of relief.

Then when the back of the book starts with this in bold print: ” Move from running-on-empty to spent-and-content”  well I just think that is worth exhaling over.

Allow me to introduce you to my friends, Amy Carroll, and Cheri Gregory, author of Exhale: Lose Who You’re Not, Love Who You Are, Live Your Own Life Well.

Don’t they just look the most fun friends?

Do you feel completely worn out by trying to be perfect? To have it all together?  To be who everyone else wants you to be?

What if you could let go of who you were not created by God to be?

What if you could CELEBRATE how God did create you to be?

And what if you could fully alive this life to matter without being caught in control?

Can we exhale?

I love the freedom found in these words. You will love this conversation as we dive into how our soul can take a good deep exhale. (Even the perfection-seeking struggling to find control in all things and do it all well among us!)
