A Love Letter to Ordinary Life
This picture of my new friend Lisa-Jo Baker just makes me smile.
The joy– contagious.
She just released her new book The Middle Matters and it is an encouragement for all of us, regardless of what stage of life we are in to celebrate the ordinary in our lives.
Often we are looking for the extraordinary. We get busy trying to find that perfect Instagram photo moment. Looking for the next BIG thing instead of savoring the NOW thing.
In this super fun interview, Lisa-Jo and I cover everything from having an assortment of coffee mugs that are not matchy matchy to muffin tops and how let’s be honest we all have them when we wear our jeans.
I cannot wait for you to listen to this interview.
Can I pause and encourage you to take a moment wherever you are? Think about how God’s glory is playing out through your seemingly ordinary moments in your daily story.
Savor it.
Don’t miss it.
Don’t necessarily feel you have to instatory it.
Pause.
Breathe.
And enjoy the “middle”.
