#coffeecupconfessions
Since this is titled #coffeecup confessions let me start by saying it has been a while since my summer of silence, and it’s way past time for me to fling some words up in this cozy space. But I was busy typing my words into another place.
I was typing words into MY NEXT BOOK (yes sorry I did write that in ALL caps and bold, because well, frankly, I am excited!! ) Currently, it is 11:30 pm and this book, Confessions of a Coffee Cup Collector releases at Midnight. So one of the ways I am celebrating is writing in this space again.
Also as a side note, I feel like you should know I am distracted by the lizard I just caught in my living room. Lizards are so close to snakes, that it gives me the heebie-jeebies. So I threw a cup over it, and the lizard is moving the cup around. Just so you know what’s happening here folks.
See, I collect coffee cups from everywhere I go. They are a physical representation of a collection of memories. Some good. Some great. Some hard. Some painful. All part of God’s glory story.
God, the author of your story, is weaving your story into His glory story.
This book is a short read– one in which my deepest prayer is it connects your heart to the heart of Jesus, who longs to take us on adventures of laughter, faith and coming alive.
There are some HILARIOUS stories I share, like the time I was riding a donkey and it died.
There are some HARD memories where Jesus and His grace meets us in my lonely spaces.
There are some mundane moments turned into worshipping His majesty moments.
The biggest theme God reminded me as I wrote.
God sees me (and you)
God knows me (and you)
and God– the creator of ALL things loves YOU with His everything.
Glory!
So can I encourage you to check it out. I have prayed these are words that bring laughter, life and a reminder of the great work Jesus is doing in our lives.
God is weaving His glory story in your story. Your story into His glory.
