When It feels like turtle pace..

I recently encountered a turtle on my run.

I may or may not have been “running” about the same pace as the turtle.

It stopped me in my tracks.

(One because I may or may not have almost stepped on it) 

I felt the Lord speak to my heart at that moment that even though it may be moving slow, the turtle was going uphill just like me.

Sometimes the timing and working of the Lord can seem slow in our lives.

I don’t know about you but I can want to give up, give in, move faster, go at my own pace.

Will I trust God is working in His pace even when it at times seems slow?

I will take my stand at my watchpost and station myself on the twoer and look out to see what he will say to me.  And the Lord answered, ” Write the vision, make it plain on tablets, so he may run who reads it.  For still the vision awaits its appointed time; it hastns to the end– it will not lies.  If it seems slow, wait for it.

Habakkuk 2:2-4

God is always working in His perfect timing and His perfect ways– will I surrender?
