“TheHandyTwins”: Coming Alive at Advent day 23
If you have read my Christmas book 25 Days to Coming Alive at Christmas you have been introduced to the “handy twins”.
If not, let me introduce you to my amazing twin sister Michelle Humbert. It is the best gift in the world to be born with your best friend. I call her my “womb mate”.
The Handy twins used to pretend to have our own do-it-yourself Christmas show in our parent’s living room where we pretended to teach our large viewing audience (and by large I mean we had none!). We would grab ornaments off the Christmas tree and have our own “show” explaining how to make all the things.
We also broke a lot of the things as we did this and the Christmas tree fell over on me more times than I can count.
No one makes me laugh more or gets me like my sister and I thought it would be soo fun to bring the handy twins to the podcast.
I cannot wait to invite you in as we talk about Christmas traditions from our family and our favorite Christmas memories.
The main thing we want you to hear is the faithfulness of God. You will hear about how when we say yes to God (even after saying no at first) He takes us on a journey that we could not imagine.
You will hear stories of how God carried us through the dark because Jesus, who came in the form of a baby, was the light that broke through the dark.
This week is THE week. It’s Christmas week. Can you believe it? Advent has flown by.
The theme of the fourth week of advent is Worship. We started week one with wait. Then watch. Then wonder. Now worship.
Worshipping the Christ the newborn King.
