God Shapes our Stories: An Interview with Sarah Forgrave
Meet my friend Sarah Forgrave.
An accountant turned author.
How fun is that? God gifted her with the right brain and the left brain and it was so fun to pick her brain in this interview.
Sarah shares her story of finding hope and healing in the midst of the darkness of her own illness and then finding hope and healing as a caregiver in the midst of her sister’s illness.
Hope is the perfect word to describe this interview.
Are you in the midst of a season where you are struggling to find hope?
Maybe you are struggling with a chronic illness, frustration or empty bank account.
Maybe you are in the midst of caring for a family member and have spent more time in hospitals lately then out.
I have not been able to stop thinking about something Sarah said in our conversation. I asked her what she would say to someone desperate to hold on to hope in a dark time.
She said she had to remind herself over and over during her time of illness that the God who formed her was for her.
The God who formed you is for you.
I CANNOT stop thinking about this.
He is good. He is for you. And you can run to Him with all of your hurt, your desire to find hope and He will meet you there.
Join Sarah and me for this interview– I know she will encourage your heart.
Ps: If you know someone that is struggling or serving as a caregiver to a loved one, will you share this episode with them?
