Family Tree– #comingaliveatChristmas#day10

Let’s be honest.  We all long for purpose.  For significance.

I don’t know about you but I want to be used to bring glory to God here on earth.  That is when I am walking in humility and not trying to bring glory to my own name– because let’s be honest I forget and can be a glory stealer.

When I look at the family tree– the ones God chose to be in the line of where Jesus’s earthly lineage came from I rejoice that God used the unexpected and the inconsistent to accomplish His purpose for HIS glory.

From a prostitute to an adulterer– and then because of Jesus,

my name makes the family tree.  That makes me want to shout glory.

Come alive at Christmas knowing that you are HIS and in the family tree.

(Ps: I realize it is 10:11 at night and I am just posting this– so sorry… last minute lucy here)
