.. Mighty God.. #comingaliveatChristmas#day15
I love this part of the Christmas story. Going through the names that represented the Savior that was to come– the names prophecied in Isaiah chapter nine.
Ps: As I am typing this I am in a coffee shop and I am listening to Pentatonix Christmas and well I just realised I was trying to type as fast as they were singing their Christmas music and I knocked my coffee right over and it spilt all over this blog post. So sorry this blog post is not scratch and sniff, but I wish for your sake that it was.
Also, it is probably not kosher to put a PS in the middle of a blog post, but hey, it’s my blog so why not.
Not sure why I put the PS in italics.. haha.. ok. let’s get back to real stuff.
Yesterday we talked about how Jesus is a wonderful counselor.
Today’s quality. Mighty God.
The mighty God made Himself meek to fit in a manger.
I could make a list and go on and on about His might. About how the same God that parted the Red Sea is your mighty God.
The same God who took a few loaves of bread and a few fish and fed five thousand, He is your mighty God.
The same God who was dead in the grave for three days and then rose again He is your mighty God.
He is mighty to save. Mighty to rescue. Mighty to redeem a situation. Mighty to carry your burdens, your worries, your fears.
Come alive at Christmas today that the mighty fit in a manger so that He could carry a cross so that He could carry us.
I have to shout glory.
