The past few days we have been studying Isaiah 9 and the characteristics in the name of our Savior.

Today’s promise is that He is everlasting Father.  I come to this subject so tenderly because I know many are not blessed with good earthly Fathers.  That breaks my heart.  But as I come tenderly to this subject, I am so grateful for the promise that because He is our Heavenly Father we get to be sons and daughters of God.

And I love the promise that goes along with it.  No longer a slave to fear.

I am praying for you.  I am not sure what your experience with your earthly Father was, but I am praying right now that you can sink into the peace and rest that comes with the fact that We no longer have to live as slaves to Fear.

Everlasting Father.  That’s a forever and ever word.  A God who does not change today or tomorrow from the God of yesterday.

He loves you— from heaven to earth and back.

Today, instead of a video, I felt led to share this song with you.  Let’s worship together.
