Living Easter Everyday

We just had the joy of celebrating Easter Sunday.  But there are many days between now and the next big Christian holiday– Christmas.

I want to live an everyday Easter.  Standing in that empty tomb in Israel made me want to shout glory (I did), made me want to sob (I did) and made me feel so grateful to a God who keeps ALL of His promises.

His resurrection story changes my story.  It changes your story.

I just finished the writing of my next book Coming Alive at the Cross ( Coming soon– wahoo, at the editor as we speak!)  As I sat in the pages of scripture that share with us the life of Jesus, He shared with me how He wants His life, death and resurrection to impact my life.

I am so grateful we have a God who keeps His promises.  Living out the promises written in His word for US transforms US, allowing us to live the Easter story daily.  Letting the resurrected king resurrect us ( a line I borrowed from my favorite new worship song from Elevation worship– The Resurrected King).
