.. Put up your dukes #livefreethursday
and it brought to mind a picture from college.. that I happened to find and can now show to you. Me and my twin sister are the ones in the middle, I am the one on the right she is on the left looking oh so intense with her pigtail buns
So this was fake fighting. That was fun. We were muddy and worn out from laughing and putting up our dukes .
Sometimes we need to get muddy and dirty. We need to sling some mudpies .
This morning I was reading in Genesis3:13. Eve tells God, the serpent deceived me and I ate.
That really stuck out to me this time when I read it. She ate the deception of the enemy. How often do I do that? Do I eat his lies, buy into his ideas, walk out not in the truth of who I am in Christ?
Romans 16:20 The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet.
When It comes to mud slinging putting up your dukes battle, I am reminded that I am on the winning team, with the victory story at the end.
It’s time to roll up my sleeves, jump in the mud and put up my dukes.
Ephesians 6 battling with the armor of God style.
You in? Let’s put up our dukes and #livefree in truth

Don’t let the pigtails fool you….I love this post.Satan put up your dukes
I love the way God spoke something new into your heart from that passage. How often we eat that deception only to see it later for what it really is. And great picture! Thanks for sharing over at #LiveFreeThursday.
Yes! We are on the winning team! And we #livefree! Thanks for this fun, yet serious post about slinging mud!
Jenn, love this encouragement on ‘put up your dukes’ – Great to see you on the #livefree linkup today, Kim Stewart

“She ate the deception of the enemy.” Wow, Jenn, succinctly put, and conviction laden for many of us. Appreciating this today. Glad I popped over from Suzie’s.
You’re so right! We are involved in a spiritual battle. Sometimes I forget that and those are times when I can be deceived or blinded by Satan’s schemes. Thanks for inspiring me today!
Jenn, I was happy to meet up with you on Twitter, and now I remember where I saw you first: at Suzie Eller’s! That picture is priceless, and the comparison you draw to spiritual warfare is good. 🙂 Let’s keep putting up our dukes.
