Do you ever feel like a poser?

Today I felt like a poser.  A mall walking poser.   Here me say I am not against malls.   But I am really not a mall girl.  I am more comfortable in let’s say a WalMart or a thrift store.  When I go into a mall, I almost feel like people must be whispering “poser”.

I was walking around our local mall, looking for a store that I had gotten a Christma gift card for. I am such a mall poser that it turns out that particular store is no even in the mall.  I was walking fast because I was hungry and trying to avoid those yummy pretzel and cookie stands because it’s almost new years and I cannot fit into my I ate way to much at Christmas parties pants.

So I was walking fast and looked like a mall walker.
I did find some 3 dollar soap from Bath and Body works on sale which made me happy.
It cracks me up to walk in bath and body. I cannot resist spraying, rubbing and sniffing all the smells. I end up leaving smelling like a mixture of florals, cookies, and to much eucalyptus.

I was giggling today as I walked around.  I thought, I am not a very good poser.  I stuck out when I accidently hit the person next to me while opening the bathroom stall.  Or when I screamed when I walked down an aisle and there was a kid that I didn’t see there who ran into me.

Do you ever feel  like a poser in life?  Like you are going through life numb?  Like you have gotten so busy you are in survival mode. Like you have to pretend to have it all together.

Do you ever feel like your supposed to be experiencing this thing called abundant life  promised in John 10:10 but you are not feeling it. You are not really experiencing that connection to Christ?

I would love to invite you to join me in the 31 days to coming alive in January challenge.  Let’s not be posers.  Let’s take the journey and walk towards the adventure of life in Christ   You may  have been a Christian for one day or a 100 years– we would to have you join us  here, and come alive.
We will be using the book 31 days to coming alive . You can purchase it on Amazon.com type in 31 Days to Coming Alive.   I happen to know the author drank a great deal of coffee and prayed even more when writing that book– that your heart would come alive.
You can join here on this blog, everyday in January (and my New Years resolution is to stick to doing it everyday) and let’s come alive together.

Would you invite your friends?
See you soon
