31 days to Coming Alive

Whew friends– to be honest .. lately I have had that crazy thing called

WRITERS BLOCK

I don’t even know what has happened.   But I came across www.thenester.com who is doing what is called a #31day challenge in October. To help people fall in love with writing again.  To help people just do it.. for all 31 days of October write on a topic.
So it sounds like a great idea.  A good challenge. So I am in. I’m doing it.  And then I laugh as I think about the fact that I am going to be gone most of October serving Jesus in Nepal ( let me re-write that. I know Jesus doesn’t need me to serve Him.  I should say I have the blessing of getting to go share the gift of Jesus with others in Nepal) .. but hey I am going to do this anyway.   So.. thanks for joining me. so.. drumroll please.. without further adu (how in the world do you really spell adu?)
I mean that’s what I wake up thinking about and go to bed thinking about.
Coming Alive.
I want to constantly be Coming Alive in Christ, and I want to follow God’s dream for my life in calling others to Come alive in Christ also.
To live in such a way with joy and life that others want to know the living God that I am so blessed to be in relationship with.
In fact, I am writing  experiencing writers block writing a devotional book called this very thing:  31 days to Coming Alive.
So in my 31 days series I want us to Come Alive.  Everyday for the next 31 days to focus on Coming Alive in Christ.  Wherever you are, whoever you are.  For some of these days I myself will be coming alive going back to one of my favorite places on the planet, NEPAL where I lived for two years. (if you want to read any of that journey .. check out www.reachingsouthasia.blogspot.com.. you will find stories of very exciting adventures.
So for today anyways. I just want to leave you with thinking.. Am I coming Alive?
