Guess what! I have been praying and seeking God this year about my God-sized dreams.
One of the dreams the Lord has put on my heart is to continue to be faithful to His calling in my life to write. And part of that means continuing to blog.
Faithfully.
Even when I don’t always know if I have readers..
to blog and invite others to Come Alive.
As I was praying the beginning of this year, I was praying God would allow me to use my blog for more
See I have been blessed to travel the world for Jesus.
God has taken this normal everyday girl on Some EXTRAORDINARY amazing adventures serving Him all over the world.
One of the things i loved about blogging when I lived as a missionary in Nepal for two years was it opened a window to you of what missions is–
What the world is
the world outside our comfort zone of America.
What God is doing around the world
What heartbreaking things exist.
What amazing things God is doing in the midst of those heartbreaking things.
So on twitter I happened to see an application to blog for the Exodus Road Project.
Glory!
What a joy to join a team of bloggers raising awareness about human trafficking.
Human trafficking is a reality that exists.
27 million people trafficked in our world.
without a voice.
I want to bring my tiny little voice to theirs.
And see human trafficking isn’t just a story to me anymore.
In Nepal– it was and is a HUGE problem.
But it became my problem more then ever when it was no longer a faceless name of a young girl
but it was my friend.
I received news that my young teenage Nepalese friend had been kidnapped by traffickers and was going to be taken across the border to India, sold into sex slavery.
no longer a statistic, but a friend.
So I cannot wait for you to join me at different times throughout the months blogging about Rescue.
Psalms 18: He rescues us because He delights in us.
Let’s pray for those girls who need rescuing because He delights in THEM!

Thanks so much, Jenn– for stepping into this with us at The Exodus Road. We are honored to have you on board. I loved reading your heart tonight.
All across the country people are coming together to wear white in unity on National Human Trafficking Awareness Day, January 11th. People are encouraged to take part in this movement by wearing white. My college is showing the US Documentary on Sex Trafficking called Sex and Money followed by a prayer for the victims and the issues we face here in TN.
