Day 5 Coming Alive at Christmas– Identical Imprint
And poor girl. I held the fact that I was one minute older then her our whole childhood. But she was the one who would listen when i would say stuff like Hey can you please make up my bed– I’m a minute older.. haha.. and she would do it! How funny is that!
She is the coolest most amazing person in the world.. and my best friend.
wickepedia says (which we all know is always right) that there is a stat that in every 1000 births there are identical twins born.
So we are a rare breed!
We often laugh at the exact same time (it ends up being creepy!) we finish each others sentences… when I lived in Nepal thousands of miles away I could tell when she was having a bad day without even seeing her.
It’s a special bond. We share the exact same genes. The same imprints of our parents.
Once I even talked to what I thought was her and in fact I was talking to my own reflection while visiting the TN aquarium! ha
(you can laugh at me. feel free!)
You know what makes me come alive at Christmas.
God sent His exact imprint also. His son. He sent Himself. Its so hard to fathom that. He sent the one who spoke the world into being, the WORD and sent Him to become flesh.
This is way way more amazing then being an identical twin.
He was the exact representation of God, and He CAME to a tiny stable in Bethlehem, to take my sins on Himself.
your sins
Our failures
so that He could call us His own.
And place in us His Holy Spirit.
That should make all of us come alive at Christmas!
THank you for a glimpse into the life of my identical daughters… and the heart of God. 🙂
