25 days to coming alive at christmas

I love Christmas

I love everything about it.
I am one of those cheesier Christmas movies the better
The cheesier Christmas songs EVEN better
(side note my sis and I’s all time favorite Christmas album of all time is Alabama Christmas.  Chocked full of crazy Christmas songs like Thistlehair the Christmas bear, and songs that have lyrics like: Tonight there will be no shooting, not a drop of blood will share
I mean who puts that in a we’re having a merry Christmas Christmas song
And who loves that as their favorite Christmas album? Well me and my sister do)

Christmas makes me come ALIVE!

But I realize Christmas can easily stress people out.
It’s easy even for those of us that LOVE it to get busy and worn out
It’s easy to get caught up in the STUFF of Christmas and miss the Sense of what Christmas is all about it…

The miracle
of
God
With
Us
Emmanuel.

So
The Lord has laid on my heart to write a devotion a day to help me (and hopefully you) Come Alive at Christmas.

So starting Friday I will be posting 25 days to Coming Alive at Christmas.  I will post a short devotional everyday to help us Come Alive at this Christmas season.

Would love love love for you to join me!
Would you? And would you share this with your friends and family so we can all come alive together!

Now.. to leave you with some cute pictures from Sunday when my wonderful sis and her hubby and two kiddos came over and helped me decorate.
I have a charlie brown Christmas tree, but I love it.. even though you have to lean to the side to make it look straight!

It’ hard to tell which is the doll.. but hope is my precious little 2 month old niece. Dont you love her mohawk!

Me Alex and hope working on the tree.. Hope.. not loving it so much!

She got worn out by all the decorating

Me my precious sis, my tree, and hope

Alex putting up the nativity scene my dad bought me from the thrift store for my thrift store gift from him last year.. haha.. we are cracking up because there is a person in the scene that looks more like a hillbilly or a cowboy then he belongs in the Christmas scene.. not sure what part He played

I know it’s dark but that’s my wonderful sis and her wonderful hubby.. who by the way had preached an awesome sermon that sunday at church!
