The rules: Write unedited for five minutes on the topic

Real life community

Start: I love the idea of community. I live for community– I crave community.. I have asked God for the gift of community.. in REAL life.. and He is a God who gives .. more abundantly then we can ever ask or imagine. I included pictures of some of my awesome community. I have been blessed to find community in countries all over the world and in places as close by as my family and my church family. I believe community can happen anywhere anytime. What does it require…. all of YOU inviting all of THEM. What do I mean? I mean pouring yourself out

putting yourself out…. not wearing masks but authentically and openly loving well and loving full.. living well and living full.. laughing well and laughing full! 🙂

I have been blessed with community that is deeply invested and we meet every week– like my precious Bible study ladies. I have never seen a group that shares life like the ACTS church so well.. we give to eachother, pray for eachother, laugh with eachother, speak LIFE to eachother, are REAL with eachother.. rejoice when one is rejoicing and weep when one is weeping.. not just at weekly Bible study but all week long. this requires time and commitment but gives back the gift of

Authentic community

My family is a safe place of community–

My church is a place of community…

I have seen 2 significant revivals take place when community happened well.. when I was a senior in high school and during my college years. God put together a body of Christ who loved well and lived Alive together … and people that did not know Jesus took notice of our loving community… wanted it.. came.. and found the glue of the community.. JESUS~

In the middle of all my real live community

is the glue

JESUS

STOP.

  2. Ah, I am craving some community right now. (besides the great on.line one.) Thanks for your kind comment on my blog. I would like to be friends, too.

I would love to hear more about your work in Nepal. Both my dad and my brother and sis. in. law do work in Nepal.

    Fondly,

  3. Love the idea of community! I think this is a word for the season. Community is what my husband and I are searching for. Ask and He will provide. Love your post!

  4. I love this prompt from Gypsy Mama and enjoyed reading about your communities. I've found real-life community (starting online) with my High Calling friends. I'm really glad you've joined us! 🙂
