Keep praying for Nepal

Thank you so much for all of your prayers for Nepal. I know that God is working in MIGHTY ways here and that excites me. As much as it excites me, it makes Satan angry, hense the intense spiritual battle going on for nepal right now.
Thank you for your prayers about the church bombing situation. One other person died in the hospital yesterday from that bombing. Please continue to keep the members of that church in your prayers.
Also keep nepalee christians in your prayers. I am not going to go into detail, but the extremist group is still making threats so the christians in kathmandu valley really need your prayers right now. I wish you could have heard the conversation going on between my three close nepalee freinds just now in their living room as they were discussing how they would stand strong, not deny Christ and not be afraid. I know we can trust our awesome God with His children, but pray for Nepalese Christians to stand strong. Our church is taking many safety measures. Now before going into church we have our bags searched, there are people patroling the grounds during church ect… but please continue to pray pray HARD especially in these coming weeks. Again in these days I am reminded how WORTH it our God is.
Today we are staying inside because there is a big strike outside and they are not allowing anyone on the roads. We have heard rumor this could be all week. we may be eating mac and cheese and whatever else we can find if this is true 🙂

This past weekend we had a team retreat for some planning and to discuss some different things. Where we stayed there was a Hindu group right across from our room. Several of them would stand outside the door and meditate.. they were CREEPY.. I mean you would just walk by and feel the darkness envelope you. I would along with leah just try to bring the name of Jesus into conversation and say ?His name .. the name above all names out loud. That night I had some of the scariest dreams, very demonic.. but the amazing thing is in the dreams, Jesus came and won. It reminded me again the power in even just the NAME of Jesus .. I am soo glad that we are on the winning team. And I am glad I have a team of prayer warriors praying for us and Nepalee christians here. We are all one body of Christ so they are your family also.

Jennifer, I’m very worried about the situation over there, but I know that our L*o%rd is watching over you! I love you. Stay safe! Aunt Brenda

  2. Jenn,

Some encouraging words from the One who brings courage to our body, mind and spirits:

Greater is He who is in you, than he who is in the world.

So shall they fear The name of the LORD from the west, And His glory from the rising of the sun; When the enemy comes in like a flood, The Spirit of the LORD will lift up a standard against him.

“Don’t be afraid,” the prophet answered. “Those who are with us are more than those who are with them.” And Elisha prayed, “O LORD, open his eyes so he may see.” Then the LORD opened the servant’s eyes, and he looked and saw the hills full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.

He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” Surely he will save you from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.

I’m praying and trusting that our Father will keep you safe in His loving arms.

    Love you,
    Sandra
