Thailand .. God’s gift to me!

Not sure why but this posted twice. This is our last day which is why I looked like a bronze godess!

The amazing beach where we spent all our time!

Jess tells me that all you have to do is pretend like and act like you look good in something and you can. So I pretended like I looks GREAT in these bug eyes. What do you think? Did I pull it off?

stopped our scooter to take a picture on this beautiful rocky shoreline

Isn’t this the coolest chair. It was in Pizza Hut.. which was the fanciest pizza hut I have ever been in. peperroni and real cheese.. I think I was transported to glory.. and this chair took me!

My first sip of starbucks.. can you tell the pure joy of the Lord there in my face!

We rented a scooter to go into town.. suposed to be the cheaper option.. it would have been had we not ran out of gas on return.. we thought the gas gage was broken because the speedometer was.. oh well.. I sure looked good regardless with the helmet that matched my dress huh?

Me and my beach dwelling sister Jess. This was day one.. We begin to look much more bronze as the week goes on.. we pretty much lived in these 100 bhat per day chairs.. really .. we did not move much. glorious!

Me and Jess soo happy to eat SUBWAY sandwhiches.. I am talking HAPPY!

The view outside of our balcony. You have to understand. Kathmandu has been in a haze of pollution forever since it has not rained.. this was like walking into heaven! God is soo good!

God loves on His princesses. I felt so loved by Him. God promises us in James that every good and perfect gift comes from Him, the Father of lights who does not change. Wow. What good and perfect gifts He gave me. I did not realize the tension that had built up in my body from living the craziness of life in nepal. .. there are just times you need a spiritual breath of fresh air. My getway to Thailand was just what I needed. I felt so loved by Jesus. I cannot tell you how nice it was to have lights and running water (right now there is a water shortage so we are really wihtout water again!) It was the perfect break.. I even arrived singing and could keep singing when I arrived here and was unable to flush the toilet since we had no water at all for 2 days! ke garne.. I felt so relaxed after being in Thailand. Every good and perfect gift comes down from the Father of lights. What good gifts has God given you? Comment and let me know.

  1. Girl! I cannot believe how much beauty is out there..I am so glad that you experinced it! How wonderful for you to have some time of clean pottys, and fresh air. We have had a lot of rain lately here, and it is amazing how much fresh can rejuvinate the heart, huh!

We have been couped up for quite sometime in the house doing the same old thing, and last week the kids and I went to the battlefield to have a field trip/picnic. The Lord led us the the most beautiful spot along with GORGEOUS TN weather!! I was able to enjoy watching the kids run so freely and play like they had just met for the first time. That day was wodnerful b/c there was no demands, no fighting, no rain and cold air…and I found a Starbucks on the way home!! ( I let the kids have an ice cream from Sonic)

I so did not want to leave, but it made my heart long for heaven more. Love ya sista!

  2. God is so good! Feeling good and stronger everyday. That HE is always with me–in sunshine and rain–bad health and fresh health . That He should care for me is AMAzing. During this special time of year I feel beyond blest that He should die on the cross for me. GLORY! GLORY! I pray His continued blessings in your work there and draw strength from God living in you. Martha
