leaving malta.. onwards :-)

Hey guys. Sorry I have not written much from malta. Internet cafes are expensive here… didn’t have to much to say except for .. um.. the most beautiful blue water I have ever seen.. gorgoues gorgeous island.. beautiful cities.. old stuff… great fellowship.. wow.. God has blown me away.

First it was soo awesome to connect again with the team that came from the Christian hospitality network to love on us.. most of them I had met last year.. so it was great to see them again. They minister to us all and spoil us rotten. Then.. had an awesome time getting to meet m*ssiojnaries who serve all over the place.. just to hear their stories of God and his provision, presence and what God is doing in the nations– even when it’s hard.. even when theysometimes want to throw in the towel.. in the midst of all that Satan is doing.. God is doing SOOO much more.. glory.. so it was great to just hang out.. oh and the joy of having worship in english was soo great to me!
WEnt on a couple of tours of the island.. yesterday went to this place called the silent city– obviously not silent for long once I was in it of course.. but it was a beautiful old mediterranean city.. i can’t wait to show you pictures.. and got to the blessing of seeing where paul shipwrecked on the island of malta.. and where he supposably stayed (in this little cave like area they call a grotto).. pretty amazing huh. Blew me away to read that story in the Bible and then be where it happened!! wahoo!

Today we went to visit an old fishing village and just spent time taking pictures and stuff– then spent great time with my now like family friends donna and wendall who are just spoiling leah and I so much!

so thats the recap of malta.. we leave tommorow– fly to london..take a bus to another airport in london.. sleep alittle in the airport then fly to scotland wehre we will be for 3 days.. then from scotland to sweden.. then back to london for 2 days.. then sunday return to kathmandu. Crazy.. God amazes me!!

thanks for celebrating and sharing this journey with me
i love you guys
jenn

  1. It was good to get caught up on what you have been doing and seeing. We have had a exciting week also since Tuesday night. Three teenage girls and the principal from the Deaf school in Jamaica have been staying with us. Two boys, a teach/assistant principal, & American M. that works with them have been staying at the Jetton's. I have see their program at Silverdale, our church, & Michelle & me went to see them at Diana's & Kay's schools today. It is awesome to watch them. I have learned a little very little sign language. They will be leaving tomorrow. We hate to see them go. We have grown to love them. Look forward to hearing more about your adventures. We love you very very much!!!
