photos from bangladesh trip

leah and I at the bay of bengal (part of the indian ocean) and yes we did swim.. fully clothed.. that’s the culture there. We also went to a water park fully clothed..very hard to get a good tan!
this is one of the views from the hospital compound we stayed on a majority of our time
leah and I with very happy faces at the pizza hut!

the brown recluse spider kiss that I got on my arm.. dont’ worry guys. I was in the best possible place to get it.. I was on our mission hospital compound and ate pretty much every meal with a doc. I am on strong antibiotics and it is looking better..
This is the first big cockroach that we killed.. it happened to be in this little pamplet so I took my shoe and squashed it in this… this was before the next night when we killed the 28.. they grow em’big in bangladesh
me on a miniture pony at the bay of bengal.. (sounds so exotic huh!)
well folks.. we arrived back in kathmandu today.. it’s nice to be back to a little bit cooler temps and a language that i understand.. although I had a glorious time in bangladesh. I will write more later.. hope that you enjoy the pics

  2. Jenn, We are glad you are getting treatment for that bite. It really looks bad. Be sure to check your mail and let me know if you got our {sunday school class} package. If not I will put a search on it. I tried to e-mail you but it came back so I did something wrong. We are praying for you and Praise God for you! Martha Miles

  3. Jenn,

I haven’t been able to get on your website for days because my computer kept telling me that your web address couldn’t be found. So I was really concerned about what was going on with you. Now I find out that cockroaches and spiders have been attacking my sweet friend! I’m so thankful that you were around so many doctors and that they were able to prescribe the appropriate antibiotics. Please, please, please, watch those bites carefully and let us know how they are doing. We will all be praying that they will completely heal very quickly.

On a more positive note, I’m praising God that you had a wonderful time in Bangladesh and a safe trip back to Nepal.

    Love you bunches,
    Sandra
