made it to Bangkok

Hey guys.. I just wanted to let you guys know that I made it safely to Bangkok where I am staying for the night with some friends. I purposely had my ticket so that I could stay here with my friends overnight.. I went through m*ssionar*y training at our company headquarters in April of 2007 and we just immediatly became like best friends.. so I am here. Lesa and Bethany picked me up at the airport and took me right to starbucks.. hehehe.. they know my love language! 🙂 then they brought me to their apartment and made me breakfast. I am so glad to be with them and it helps the whole missing my family thing to get to hang out with them and laugh and share stories.

So my 17 hour flight was incredible.. God blessed me so much in that it was a very empty flight so I got 2 seats to myself so I could lay completely out and sleep.. 4 meals, 3 movies and 2 tv shows later, and 2 sessions of listening to beth moore and several long naps later I arrived here.. and I feel great. So far no jet lag. I am excited for my time with these precious friends (I’m having dinner wtih some more of them tonight.. it’s great being a “m” because you have friends all over the world) and then I am leaving tommorow morning after one last starbucks run to return to nepal. Thank you thank you thank you for your prayers. I will let you know when I get to nepal

Blessings
