Back from the dead

Hey my favorite blogger family. I am back from the dead. Because our internet has been broken for a week you didn’t even know I was almost dead.. not really dead but wanted to be. Leah and I got some sort of stomache flu from down under. Leah came down with it first on monday night.. then I got sick on Tuesday. It’s the kind where you are only able to throw up a few times but then you feel so nausous and miserable you can’t get out of bed. … the sad thing is my friend sarahbeth who is visiting it also got it and it was actually really kindof funny because three girls.. all having diahrea (sorry i don’t know how to spell that) in one house with only two toilets and not a stick of toilet paper to be found ( we ran out).. ke garne… (what to do!) you have to keep your sense of humor here. And a polyantic attitude.. that’s what leah and i call it after the movie pollyana who is positive about everything…. we are very pollyantic to survive here. Our pollyanism this week…… that we have water so at least we don’t have to go outside and get a bucket of rainwater to flush the toilet.. praise the lord!

so now we are all finally feeling better.. after having been in bed pretty much all week.. so tonight i had my first real food.. a mango lassi which is mangos in curd yogurt.. i dno’t know why but that’s the first thing i wanted. Weird huh. We are all super excited that we are feeiling better because tommorow is a big day in nepal! it’s the fourth of july party put on by the american embassy for the american citizins. We have been promised american barbeque, dr. pepper and doritos from america. It’s been 11 months guys.. can i just say glory. So praise Jesus that we are feeling better. Barbeque here we come!

ok.. i have other things that i wanted to write about but i am going to go because my friend needs to use the computer. I promise a longer blog entry later! our internet has been broken for a week.. so i should be able to update sooner!
