Harmro visa Aayo ( mahima)
OUR VISAS HAVE COME!! MAHIMA! That’s what the title translated means. I don’t even know what to say to thank you for your prayers (although it came to my knowledge that my mom had to set a few people straight hehehe.. because many people thought if we didn’t get our visas that I would be coming back to america, so you guys only started praying when you found out that was not true.. hehehe) but your prayers were answered. On Friday a VERY soggy Leah and I arrived at immigration. We took scooty because once again there is no petrol available in the valley (i wish that you could see the gas lines that stretch all around town.. people wait for days for 1 liter of gas.. ) so we drove scooty in the pouring rain.. so maybe it was the drowned rat look that got their attention. But at around 2:00 on Friday afternoon we got our visa in our passport which allows us to stay in nepal as a student for the next six months. Glory. Although I was willing to leave, the thought of leaving what is just now getting established when we are just now being able to communicate made me very sad.. the cool thing is about 2 months ago the lord was dealing in my heart with what i didn’t trust Him with. He asked me, what do you not want to trust me with. I told him that I did not want to trust him with CHANGE… see it was the hardest thing I did to leave everything and everyone I love behind in america (although completly worth it) to come to a place where I felt like a complete alien most of the time. I told God that I didn’t want to have to do that again for a while, so He then told me you have to trust me with this! so he lovingly had me place that in his hands.. that was two months ago… before I new we would have all these visa problems. So I placed it in his hands reluctantly and that is why I believe God was able to give me such a peace when I was not sure what country I would be living in next week. What a loving God. He knows the depths of our hearts, and he is ALWAYS good. It warmed my heart so much after church today when my nepalee family (especially the ladies from our Bible study) surronded leah and i and were asking about our visa and to hear their shouts of joy when we said we got it… they were soo excited .. one lady even told me she had been fasting for us. so why don’t you just have yourself a little glory dance party wherever you are, celebrating with me the goodness of God.
A few other random thoughts for this issue:

2) I got to talk to all four of my fam two days ago on skype for the first time in a well. It was such a blessing. Did I metnion what an incredible family that I have. 5) oh and one more praise. My boss and his wife Jim and Marilou Long have been in nepal from bangladesh thsi week and that has been a real blessing. I am so blessed to have such an incredible boss. Him and I laughing together is quite the scene. He cares about us so much and is quite the blessing– we really enjoyed being with them this week.
Pray for us in the next week.. nathan and sarah (my newly married teammates) are coming back to nepal and bringing a team of 10 with them to do some work here for 3 weeks. Please pray for their safety and their time in nepal. Also we have a short termer coming with them to intern with us for the summer at the orphanage so also pray for her.. her name is hannah.

Great News Jenn. We have been asking God to help you and we are encouraged that He let you have your visa.
Jenn, I am so excited for you!! What a relief!
I had a dream the other night that you were going to have to move somewhere else, so I came over to help you move. It was hilarious. When I got there, you asked what I wanted to do for fun and I started naming all the places I wanted to go back to and eat: Red Dingo, Roadhouse, and I told you I wanted to try the Lazy Gringo. Hilarious!!
I woke up the next morning craving Miya’s cooking. (I have no idea how to spell her name!) I wish I could come back to visit. 🙁 Love you!!
By the way, friends, if any of you would like to see some photos from the trip, I opened up a Flickr account and posted them there. Just go to my blog and you’ll see photos on the right side of the screen with a link to more.
Bless you!

Friends R 4ever!
Jenn,
My back is too messed up to do a hallelujah dance around the room, but I’m certainly dancing on the inside. I am so thrilled that God worked out the visa situation. I had a friend who used to say, “God is never late, but He is very last minute.” He stretches our faith to the limit, and then He comes through with a miracle that no one else can take credit for.
Lots of praises have gone up to Him today since you’ve posted your blog. I’m so thankful that God worked it out for me to meet you so I could be a part of this great celebration!
Love you bunches,
Sandra

Hi Jenn,
I just wanted to say thank you for the comment you left on my blog. Every night before Chrissy and I fall asleep we have a conversation with our Father and every night you and our friends are included in the conversation.
Hey Sweetie, Just wanted to tell you I’m happy for you that you got your visa (although I’m afraid I was one of the ones who was secretely hopeing you’d get to come home for a while–I’m sorry, I just can’t help it–I miss you)! I just saw the pictures of Michelle on her blog. Isn’t she precious? She’s showing a lot more since we went to Gatlinburg. I’m really looking forward to her and your Mom coming this week. You take care and I love you, and I will try hard to be more receptive to you being in Nepal. At least I’m being honest, huh? I know you’re where you want to be and where Papa wants you to be, so who am I to be whining because you’re gone. I know you’re doing so much good over there. Just tell them to give you hugs for your Aunt Brenda, okay? I love you,
Aunt Brenda
