It’s a boy

So I must admit I am the proudest aunt in the world.. I know it. I have traveled the world you know. So I have to tell you that my cute little one is a NEPHEW. I am soo excited to know that I am having a nephew. I wont tell you his name in case my sister and her wonderful hubby want to be the one to tell you.. but it’s a cute great name! To bad though because if it was going to be a girl it would have been named something lynn after my middle name.. there is always next time. Want to see how cute He is.. click http://gingerbreadfam.blogspot.com to see his cute baby pictures.. ok..so really i don’t recognize a thing in those pictures.. but i still bet he’s cute! I know he’s going to have the best parents ever.. and I am going to somehow spoil him rotten even i live on the other side of the world. In fact, I get to practice getting to be aunt jenn here alot. Today i even played auntie and went with my friend ashley to get her babies vaccinations.

ok.. so I have to tell you.. momos are like the nepalee other food besides dhal bhat (rice and lentils which we eat at least once a day) I love momo’s… but let me warn you.. they taste good going down but not coming back up. Yesterday and the night before last I was pretty sick.. throwing up (isn’t it awesome that the nepalee word for throw up is wakwak.. i love that. it just fits) and having other issues.. but luckily I think it was just from eating some bad buffulo meat (you don’t hear that very often in the states huh) and I feel much better today. I stayed in bed all day yesterday and was up and ready to go today. Such is life here in nepal. It had been about a month since I had had this problem.. so it’s normal to have it about once a month. oh well. makes you appreciate when you are well.
oh yeah.. for all those of you that asked about an online Bible study. You made me really excited about this idea. I have always wanted to write a Bible study but never had anyone ask for it.. so now that two of you precious friends have asked for it I’m going to do it. I’ve been praying about it alot and I am really really excited about. I am not sure how I will do it online quite yet.. but more details to come.. please be in prayer as I try to write it.

Thank you guys soo much for praying for me.
And happy birthday today to one of my favorite prayer warriors TJ. I am so glad that i got to talk to you on your birthday. I love you so much and you are such a blessing to me

  1. Jenn,
I hope that you will share and allow me to love and spoil him too. 🙂 i love you and thanks for the email.

  2. Jenn,

I’m celebrating with you over your news that you will soon have a precious nephew to love. Boys are so much fun. My grandson brings so much joy to my life. My heart just swells with love every time I think about him or glance at one of the MANY pictures I have of him in my office, my home, my planner, my purse, etc, etc, etc. Yes, I am one of those annoying grandmas who is just gaa gaa over her grandchild!

Did you know that my daughter’s name is Jennifer Lynn as well? She loves being an aunt as much as I know you will.

I’m so sorry you had another bout of wakwaking and other unmentionable problems. I’m happy you are feeling better and ready to enjoy another day with Jesus.

    Love you bunches,
    Sandra

  3. Hey Niecey-Poo, Don’t you just love that I call you that? Well pretty soon you’ll be called Aunt Jenn. Isn’t that neat? I just knew it was going to be a boy! I don’t know why, but I had a very strong feeling. IIIII know his naaaame, but IIIIII’m noooot telling. (You have to sing that–you know kinda’ like na na na boo boo!) I like his name. I’ll bet someone else I know does too since part of it is his name. I know….I’m not saying who that is! Well, gotta’ go, but I love you a bunch. Love, Aunt Brenda

  4. Jenn…
I am a PSI student in Atlanta…you met my husband and I (he attends also) in several classes. I am coming to Kathmandu to visit my daughter May 15-29th. Any chance we can connect? My e-mail is [email protected].
    Congratulations on your news!

  5. Glory to God! A new life– God’s gift to love and dedicate to Him. Congratulations Aunt Jenn. The Bible study is going to be great. We are praying for Gods leadership and blessing on our study of His word. Thanks for the e-mail–it blessed my soul as your wittness always does. God bless and keep you in His care. Martha Miles
