what to title.. hmmm

it seems i keep starting out my posts recently apologizing.. i really am sorry and promise after next week to became back to my blogging self. I have not been home long enough any day to blog– and now there are 4 girls staying at my house this week and 2 computers so 🙂
so i am so blessed by my regional administrator and his wife. They are in charge of m’s in so many countries yet i feel like they are family. They came to visit this week and we just had a great time together. He laughs really loud like i do, so when you put the two of us together in a restraunt in nepal you get quite a scene. Him and his wife are such a blessing to me and it was great to have them here.
So on Friday my teammate got here safe and sound. We have had a good time together with Nathan and our administrators.. half of our team here at last.. it’s exciting! Please pray for her as she adjusts to life in nepal. And this week my friends that spent the first summer i was here in nepal with me are visiting for the week. I literally went to the airport every day this week either to pick some one up or drop them off!
so yesterday i had an incredible experience. We had lunch with a AMAZING couple that were basically the leaders of a huge movement of revival in tibet. They are not much older then me .. and wow.. the story that they told … they had us for lunch yesterday and told us of there imprisionment in tibet for leading these christians and of their miraculous escape from tibet
(keep in mind this was not very long ago either) — of their true willingness to stand at their mockers and their beaters, and those that could kill them and say Jesus loves you. The lady talked of going first to plan the escape route because she knew her husband was so important to the church that she was willing to be imprisioned before him… they talked of all the miracles that God had done, and how they didn’t care if they went to prision because they could share jesus there. I cried alot as they were talking and realizing what weak faith i have, we have. They said all this with true joy, because they counted it true joy to persecuted for our savior. They protected the names of their church members… they talk of their enemies with smiles saying, but Jesus loves them! Wow.. it was like the apostle paul himself was standing before me. Please pray for them and the ministry they have started for tibetans here.
This week we are going to visit all the friends that we made the first summer that we were here since my former teammates are in town. Meetings with many hindus so just pray for that. Pray for God to continue to open doors. Pray for us to follow him each step of the way!
i love you guys!

  1. Jenn! I was so happy to see you had posted. I bet there is not a dull moment with 4 girls all in that place with only 2 computers. Btw, how many bathrooms are in there? Ha! Ha! I am so thankful that Leah got there safely! We will pray for both of you. I was so blessed to hear the story of the Tibet couple! Wow! That is faith that I couldn’t ever even begin to understand! I only wish that I had a fourth of that type of faith. God will bless them greatly! Our prayers are with them. This is the week of international prayer for m’s. The southern Baptist are praying for them all over the world this week. We had special prayer for m’s in Sunday school and church this morning and my silent prayer was for you.
Michelle and TJ went Christmas shopping at the mall last night. I have to tell you it was so funny! I picked them up outside the food court and (are you ready?) Michelle couldn’t remember where she parked her car! I rode her around the parking lot until we found the car. I was laughing so hard and then TJ said, “This must run in the family!” Remember before Thanksgiving I had to walk around the Wal-Mart parking lot with your Mom to find her car! Have you lost your motorcycle yet? Ha!
Well, TJ is already in bed, so I’m sure she will post tomorrow! Oh, yes…….I almost forgot. Can you get eggs there? If not what do you use for eggs? By the way, I mailed a package to you on Nov. 10th! It has some Christmas things in it! I’ll email you the tracking no. and let you see if the Post Office has gotten it yet. Hugs and Prayers,,,,,,Momma Ellis

  2. girl, you always apologize for not blogging, but every time i come to your blog (every day except weekends) there’s a new post! no more apologies!!!

so my brother has a girlfriend (hooray!!) and she snorts when she laughs. it makes me MISS YOU every time!!! HAHA!!

praying for you, for leah, for the missionaries to tibet – praise God for all of you!!!

  3. How exciting that you got to meet that couple! Isn’t it neat how God brings people to us. Jenn I hope you know I love you and am so blessed by you. I know you will encourage Leah just by being yourself. I have had a wonderful day today. I finally let go. I woke up early and the Lord just cleansed me. I asked him to help make him my first love again, and he is already working in me. Would you believe that once I finally deleted Bryan’s voicemail from September, that God actually let Bryan call me today!

Then, I prayed about my home health person, and I just can so see God is working it out. Mumzie did great with her lesson today. Kim wanted you to know that she does read your blogs! My whole family loves you! I am really loving AAA. Please pray for Sandra, she is having knee surgery on the 11th, that would just bless her so! She loves you!
Tell Leah hello! Oh I think you’ve inspired me to begin blogging again! Love,
    Teej
