great day

so guys– i am sitting by my cute old charlie brown christmas tree talking to my friends. I am in warm crazy colored warm socks, a fleece and a blanket and snuggled up with a cup of tea. My sweet friends that came to visit me suprised me yesterday and brought me a huge warm old down jacket.. it’s awesome. It keeps me cozy and warm when i am out, and i look like a big old marshmellow when i wear it. I don’t think I have ever had anything that warm before.

So this week like i said we have been running around from place to place getting the necessary things for our house. But tommorow we are going to the MOUNTAINS.. wahoo– clean air, and beauty..
It continues to be encouraging to me as I walk around with my friends and serve as their translator.. wow– crazy! 🙂 it it the grace and the blessing of our God. ok. so i did not have much to say in this here post.. i just wanted to check in and say hello and share the praise about my beautiful marshmellow jacket.. i look great in it.. like the yetti.. which is a big legend here.. the abonimibal snowman

  1. Jenn,

The picture you paint with the description of your attire made me laugh so hard, but it also made me happy to know that you have something to keep you warm and cozy. However, I foresee a possible problem with your latest fashion statement. You know Jenn, you already make such a scene everywhere you go with your blonde hair and your white skin. Now you add on top of that a puffy white, marshmallow coat! They really will think you are the Abominable Snowman.

Just to be on the safe side, wear a brightly colored hat when you go to the mountains. If there’s a lot of snow, you could just blend in with all of the white stuff and the legend of the snowman would come to life!

I’m so happy that you are happy and so glad that you are getting away to see some of God’s best handiwork.

    Love you bunches,
    Sandra

  2. Jenn: I can just see you now in that puffy white coat! Your new nickname in Nepal will be marshmallow! Do they have marshmallows in Nepal?? If not then let me know and I’ll send you some and you can build a fire out back and have them with your cup of tea. We want you to post come pictures of your new coat, the Charlie Brown Tree, and maybe some pics of you folks in the mountains. Have you had any snow there were you live? Wow, just think you will look like a snowman riding on your motorcycle in Nepal. I can see it now! Got to go and fix some supper! Be careful in the mountains. Momma Ellis

  3. Hi chick! Have I told you lately how proud I am of you! You are just thriving! I know you will miss Nathan, as he will miss you. Who would have thought 7 months ago, that God would give you such an amazing brother in Christ! I am so happy about your coat! Have a great time in the mountains! It was a blast talking to you last night!

    I Love you!

  4. I was always scared of the abdominabal snowman in Santa Clause is coming to town when I was a kid….Don’t be too scary…..I miss you. Check out my blog, and send me how to put pictures on their.
    Love you

  5. Jenn,
Amazing! Just amazing! We have loved this weekend so far. We went to the enchanted gardens last night and it was incredible. We took some photos on the disposable camera so as soon as we develop those (and we don’t have a good reputation for developing pictures soon, i.e. wedding pics), we’ll get them on a CD and send you some. We hope that they come out since we took many in the dark.

I can’t tell you how much i appreciate your gift to us. I know you must have been saving for awhile and it was extremely thoughtful.

We love you Jenn! (and not for the gifts you give but the person you are!)

Todd (and Michelle who is right here with me)
