Starbucks GRANDE latte and other kisses from the king

Hello to all my faithful readers … i am sorry that I have recently had to be so sporadic about posting.. it’s been hard to find cheap internet. So I just wanted to share a few kisses from the king that I have received lately:

1) Tonight I had a starbucks latte GRANDE in Bankock Thailand with my friends that I am staying with.. glory glory glory
2) For lunch I had a burger king whopper….. glory again (remember you cannot eat beef in nepal)
3) I got to stay an extra day at the beach in phuket and it only cost less then a dollar to change my plane ticket.. isn’t that crazy!!

So I just tell you our God is such a God of love. It has been great to be away from the spiritual battle for a time of refreshment and rest.. to be able to hear from Jesus without having to push through the spiritual darkness.. wow..these week he has just whispered so many sweet things in my ear from his word. I am ready to go back and FIGHT Satan for God’s glory (or actually let my knight in shining armor fight for me..)
So please if you ever get a chance to e-mail the christian hospitality network and thank them for what they did for us (just google it). People in the states paid for all 200 of our trips to stay at the resort for four days, chick-fil-a paid for us to have free massages, the people that came on the hospitality team were literally Jesus’s hands and feet to us as they talked, gave chirpratic adjustments, brought suprise gifts to our room every night and led worship. I realized that even though I have loved my time so far on the field, it has been tough. And God has been faithful. And the christian hospitality network team truly offered us a cup of cold water in the name of Jesus. And I drank it up. We had worship at night and it was just incredible. Through their words, hands and feet and hugs (and southern accents as most of them were from chattanooga and knoxville) I heard Jesus say to me, well done my daughter! SO can i just remind you all that Jesus said come to me, all you who are weary and heavy laden and I will givce you rest. Give yourself freedom to rest in the arms of Jesus today, dance with him, and watch for kisses from the king– even if they are the smallest things.

one more thing.. so I stayed an extra day in phuket and a member of the hospitality team paid for me to go snorkeling with them. 19 of us went to an island and I was astounded by beauty of the crystal blue water and white sands. I got to snorkel, which is a life long dream of mine. I saw the most incredible underwater world. Can you believe our God made all this and yet we get so busy we don’t notice. Then we went from the beach and anchored in the middle of the ocean and snorkeled.. i saw the most incredible creations of our KING! Glory. I will post pictures when i get back home and can use my computer. I will be here in thailand for 3 more days then returning back to nepal. I am going to a thai english outreach tommorow so pray for that. How awesome.. in 3 weeks I have been in 3 countries, 4 different cities and 2 islands.. wow!!

i love you

  1. Jenn,

Wow, you have really been given the star treatment, haven’t you? And rightfully so. Because God said we would be stars shining for Him.

Daniel 12:3 says: Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever. And Philippians 2:14 & 15 says: Do everything without complaining or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a crooked and depraved generation, in which you shine like stars in the universe.

I am going to contact the Christian Hospitality Network and thank them for the wonderful way they have taken care of my friend. What a beautiful ministry they offer! It’s no wonder you have been treated so well. It’s just God fulfilling His promise to you. Psalm 84:11 says: For the Lord God is a Sun and Shield; the Lord bestows present grace and favor and future glory (honor, splendor, and heavenly bliss)! No good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly.

I’m pray that the rest of your trip will be one blessing on top of another and that you’ll have a safe trip back to Nepal.

    Love you bunches,
    Sandra
